GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
There are many opportunities to donate to The Wonder of Reading, whether it is contributing money, supporting Explore-A-Story: A Celebration of Books, volunteering your time as a reading partner, or donating books.  All of The Wonder of Reading’s funding comes from individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.  Fully 72% of our expenditures go directly to program implementation.  While The Wonder of Reading accepts any amount of money for contributions, we have provided the following guide to explain our giving categories.  (View the list of Wonder of Reading donors.)

THANK YOU PACIFIC THEATRES
On May 2, 2008, Pacific Theatres celebrated the opening of a new theater, the Pacific Theatres Glendale 18 at The Americana at Brand in Glendale.  To celebrate this exciting event, Pacific Theatres has donated nearly $1,500, generated from concession sales, to The Wonder of Reading to support programs and projects for schools, teachers, and students.  Congratulations, Pacific Theatres, on the grand opening of The Americana at Brand, and thank you for your commitment to children's literacy.

GIVING CATEGORIES
The Wonder of Reading relies exclusively on generous donations from foundations, corporations, and individuals to fund $50,000 for implementation of the 3R Program at each school.  (Please click here if you are interested in becoming a large donor.)  However, we also count on the support of smaller donors.  These funds go directly toward inspiring young students to become lifelong learners.  Please consider becoming a Wonder of Reading donor today!
