2005 Reading Celebration
To honor the dedication and hard work of the students and reading partners, The Wonder of Reading hosts a recognition event at the end of each academic year. These events are held at Pacific Theatres and ArcLight Hollywood Cinemas. Students and volunteers in our program are invited to a movie screening and they get to enjoy it with popcorn and soda. Prior to viewing the movie, the students participate in read-alouds conducted by authors and actors. Each student gets a gift bag packed with school supplies, movie promos, and three new books to establish libraries of their own.
We could not have done it without you....
